Description & Details
Mission of the Muslim Ummah, The
Siraj Wahhaj
overview:
details:
This opening session of the United Muslim Conference in Orlando, Florida deals with the mission statement of the Muslims living in the world today. Imam Siraj draws this statement from the Holy Qur'an and sets the tone for the entire conference by exhorting those attending to be a balanced, just, and good nation. But, moreover, he warns that the Muslim must fulfill his or her role as being the witnesses for all of humanity by enjoining the good and forbidding the evil. Other topics discussed: the change of the kiblah, leadership, da'wah, Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam, unity, hijab, the spirit of Islam, and the selling of alcohol by Muslims.
